Printek Latch Panel Adjuster, FormsPro 4xxx

The Printek Latch Panel Adjuster is a repair part for the FormsPro 4600 and the FormsPro 4603 Wide Carriage Dot Matrix Printers. This part is also used on the FormsPro 4000, FormsPro 4003, FormsPro 4300, FormsPro 4500 and FormsPro 4503 Dot Matrix Printers.

To replace the Latch Panel Adjuster you must:

1. Open the printer case.
2. Loosen, but do not remove the nut on the rear of the left adjuster.
3. Remove the screw and flat washer on the front of the adjuster.
4. Pull the adjuster off the rear screw and remove the adjuster.
5. Place the new adjuster over the rear screw.
6. Install, but do not fully tighten the front screw and flat washer.
7. In a similar manner, replace the right adjuster.
8. Adjust the new adjusters as described in the cabinet leveling adjustment. You do not need to perform the printing adjustment.
