The thermal printhead is the most critical component of your thermal barcode printer as well as the most delicate of its parts. Taking proper care of your printhead ensures the longest printhead life and excellent print quality. Improper maintenance can result in premature printhead failure.

When removing and installing a printhead, carefully follow the Printhead Replacement instructions in the Operator/Maintenance Manual for your specific printer model.
