IBM 6400-i24 Line Matrix Printer Speed 2400 LPM
IBM 6400-i24, designed specifically to deliver maximum performance for high-volume report printing, the specialized InfoPrint Solutions Company 6400 Model i24 is capable of printing at up to 2400 lines per minute in Fast Draft mode, or 1800 lpm in DP mode.
IBM 6400-i24The printer model numbers indicate printing speed and physical configuration.• All printer models start with the 6400-i24 series prefix, followed by a three digit or alphanumeric suffix. Models containing only numbers indicate cabinet models. Model numbers containing the letter “P” indicate pedestal models.• For cabinet models, the alphanumeric suffix refers to the printer’s maximum speed in lines per minute (lpm): 6400-i05 for 500 lpm, 6400-i10 for 1000 lpm, 6400-i15 for 1500 lpm, 6400-i20 for 2000 lpm, and 6400-i24 for 2400 lpm.• For pedestal models, the first two alphanumeric values in the suffix refer to the printer’s maximum speed in lines per minute (lpm): 6400-i5P for 500 lpm and 6400-i1P for 1000 lpm.• The 6400-i5P and 6400-i1P models are pedestal models with the QuickAccess Cover installed.• The 6400-i20, 6400-i2s, and 6400-i24 models are available with the power stacker option installed.
