The Printek Print Head Nose Shield is a repair part for the FormsPro 4600 and the FormsPro 4603 Wide Carriage Dot Matrix Printers.

The Procedure for the Print Head Noise Shield Replacement is:

With power on, open the ribbon lid and remove the ribbon cartridge.
Grasp the sides of the nose shield and lift it up off the carriage assembly.
Place the new nose shield so that the "legs" are aligned with the slots in the carriage, and press the legs down into the slots.
