The Printek Print Head Nose Shield is a repair part for the PrintMaster Line of Dot Matrix Printers, Models 860, 862, 850, 850si and 852si.

The print head nose shield replacement is a very simple 3 Step Procedure.

With power on, open the ribbon lid and remove the ribbon cartridge.
Grasp the sides of the nose shield and lift it up off the carriage assembly.
Place the new nose shield so that the "legs" are aligned with the slots in the carriage, and press the legs down into the slots.
