Printek Ribbon Lid Hinges, FormsPro 4xxx Wide Carriage

The Printek Ribbon Lid Hinges are repair parts for the FormsPro 4600 and the FormsPro 4603 Wide Carriage Dot Matrix Printers.  They are also used on the older FormsPro Printers FP 4000, FP 4003, FP 4500, FP 4503 and the FP4300.

To Replace the Ribbon Lid Hinges you must:

1. Remove the ribbon lid.
2. Before removing the old hinges, make note of how the ends of the brass plates are twisted to make contact with the printer side plates.
3. Replace the right hinge and brass plate and apply the twist to the brass plate.
4. Replace the left hinge in the same manner, but do not install the screw that does not cover the brass plate until after the lid is placed in the printer.
5. Reinstall the ribbon lid.
